Upright Research Microscope
The NP900 Series redefines what a research-grade polarising microscope can deliver, combining strain-free NIS60 optics, Kohler illumination, and a full suite of observation modes in one adaptable platform.
At its core is Nexcope's NIS60 infinite plan semi-apochromatic optical system with strain-free objectives and condenser, ensuring observed birefringence comes from the sample, not the optics. The sextuple nosepiece, high-precision revolving round stage, and standard compensator slot support transmission and reflection observation, including dark field, bright field, phase contrast, polarising, and fluorescent modes.
Available in three configurations, the NP900, NP900RF, and NP900TRF, with a Seidentopf trinocular head and NOVA Basic image analysis software. Contact us for configuration and camera options!
High-precision Revolving Round Stage
The NP900 stage is large, pre-adjusted, and click-stops in 45 ° increments. The double-layer mechanical attachable stage can be easily mounted on a rotating carrier table, allowing easier sample movement and more efficient microscopic operation.
Key Features
Center Adjustable Sextuple Nosepiece
Up to five objectives can be mounted and all objectives positions are center- able. The nosepiece can be equipped with 6 objectives with different magnification rates to obtain abundant sample information.
Intermediate Tube with Bertrand Lens
The intermediate tube incorporates a Bertrand lens as standard enabling both the observation and capture of conoscopic and orthoscopic images. Precisely and quickly interference images adjustment. The high precision slide-type analyser can be rotated a full 360 ° with a precision vernier scale and provides unparalleled image contrast.
ECO Function
The transmitted light would be off automatically after 30 minutes from operators leave. It can not only save energy, but also keep the lamp life.
Kohler Illumination System
Kohler illumination is praised as the perfect micro-illumination system, which can provide uniform and bright lighting of the full field of view, and is the key of digital microscopic imaging. On this basis, the standard lighting for halogen lamps (optional LED lighting) makes the microscopic imaging more realistic and the results are highly repeatable.
Compensator Slot
The NP900 adopts a standard compensator slot. Therefore, various compensators can be used to enhance the advanced quantitative measurement of the signal of the weak birefringent material.
Seidentopf Trinocular Viewing Head
The adjustable viewing head can be operated in a more comfortable position. Minimise muscle tension and discomfort associated with working long hours.
Strain-free Optics Make Imaging More Accurate
With the deepening of the study of polarised light, the accuracy and repeatability of the data are increasingly required. Objective lens and condenser lens, as important components of the microscope, play a vital role in the imaging effect.
As a polarising microscope, not only does it require high resolution, but also a stress-free optical component, which ensures that the observed birefringence is from the sample and not from the optical element.
