NSZ 818 Series Advanced Stereomicroscope

The NS Z818 is an advanced stereomicroscope with a 1:18 zoom range. The wide field of view and massive zoom range make this system highly suited to IVF, embryology, zebrafish and organoids.

The flexible structure supports a wide range of observation methods, such as high-sensitivity fluorescence, oblique contrast illumination and polarised light.

Key Features

1:18 Continuous Zoom

With a zoom ratio of 1:18, the NSZ818 achieves a continuous magnification range of 0.75X to 13.5X without changing objectives. This allows seamless switching between wide-field overview and high-magnification detail in a single observation session.

60mm Working Distance

Even at high magnification, the NSZ818 maintains a 60mm working distance between the objective and the sample. This provides ample clearance for tools and instruments, and reduces the risk of collision when working with thick or uneven specimens.

Tiltable Viewing Head

The optional tiltable trinocular head adjusts from 0 to 30°, with eye height raisable by up to 47mm. This allows operators to find a natural, comfortable viewing position and reduces fatigue during extended sessions.

Plan APO Objective

Equipped with a newly designed Plan APO 1X NA0.15 objective, delivering excellent chromatic aberration correction and resolution up to 1000LP/mm. The result is more accurate, true-to-life imaging compared to standard plan achromatic optics.

OIC Oblique Coherent Illumination

The base features a built-in OIC oblique coherent illumination system, activated by a simple lever on the side. This enhances surface contrast on colourless and transparent samples that are difficult to image under standard transmitted light.

Motorised Control (NSZ818M)

The NSZ818M adds motorised control of zoom, focusing, and light intensity via a multifunctional controller with LCD display. Additional settings including focusing speed, Z-axis limit, and sample replacement lifting make it adaptable to different operator workflows.
