Klein Scientific: Nexcope NOS1000 Now Available in Australia and New Zealand
Nexcope's structured-light optical sectioning microscope, the NOS1000, is now available in Australia and New Zealand from Klein Scientific.
The NOS1000 employs specialised illumination patterns to enhance optical resolution, surpassing the diffraction limit of conventional fluorescence microscopes. It enables rapid, gentle optical sectioning for 3D imaging, effectively reducing out-of-focus fluorescence interference as well as autofluorescence from specimens and culture media, resulting in sharper, more authentic sample images.
Powerful Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used for illumination, making the NOS1000 flexible and suitable for a wide range of imaging tasks.

120 nm XY resolution: achieves optical resolution of 120 nm in the XY-plane and 200 nm along the Z-axis, effectively eliminating out-of-focus stray light and clearly revealing fine microstructural details
Variable structured light system: allows adjustment of optical section thickness according to sample characteristics and experimental requirements, making it better suited for complex or dynamically changing biological specimens
30 FPS imaging speed: tracks fast-changing intracellular processes in real time, perfectly suited for live-cell imaging
NomisProX software: deconvolution, multidimensional X/Y/Z/λ/T scanning, and tiling
Expandable platform: optional accessories include a super-resolution module, confocal module, FRAP module, and live cell culture system
