Klein Scientific Nexcope NCF2000: Laser Confocal Microscope Now in Australia

Nexcope's next-generation laser confocal microscope, the NCF2000, is now available in Australia and New Zealand from Klein Scientific.

Nexcope, a leading manufacturer of advanced optical microscopes, announce the NCF2000. Designed for high-throughput and high-quality imaging in modern biological research, the NCF2000 features an industry-leading 25mm field of view, resonant scanning technology, and a high-sensitivity GaAsP detection system - purpose-built for large samples, live cells and demanding multi-channel experiments. Paired with the NIB1000-AT inverted microscope, the system handles everything from large-area tissue mapping to highly dynamic live-cell processes.

Key features and options:

  • 25mm field of view: Captures large-area samples in a single scan, delivering 1.5x the data throughput of the previous generation, with scanning resolution up to 8192 x 8192 pixels

  • Resonant scanning: High-speed imaging up to 60 FPS at 8x256 pixels and 25 FPS at 512x512 pixels, significantly reducing exposure time and phototoxicity. Available as NCF1000 without resonant scanning

  • High-sensitivity GaAsP detection: Four-channel PMT detection across 400-750nm with adjustable spectral precision of 1nm, enabling detection of faint fluorescent samples

  • Real-time four-channel synchronised imaging: Simultaneously detect and analyse four distinct fluorescent labels. Need more? The NCF2000 offers precise spectral unmixing across the same field of view

  • Spatial array confocal scanning head: Integrated high-precision galvanometer scanning with continuously variable electric pinhole, achieving ultra-high resolution of 120nm in XY and 350nm in Z

  • NomisProX-C software: Supports multi-channel fluorescence imaging, time-lapse scanning, multi-position acquisition, Z-axis stacking, panoramic stitching, and built-in 2D and 3D deconvolution

  • Super-resolution ready: Compatible with the NSR Series module, enabling 2D-SIM lateral resolution down to 86nm and 3D-SIM axial resolution of 270nm

  • Expandable functions: Live cell culturing system, SR-SIM super-resolution module, and dual-layer fluorescence accessory

The system is highly configurable to your requirements. Find out more on the NCF2000.
